Praises and Petitions at Midnight

Psalms 119:62

“At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.”

During one of the hardest seasons of my life the Lord revealed to me the hidden treasure of rising to pray and praise our Father in the midnight hour.

To jumpstart our day afresh, connected with the Source of Life, Jesus the Christ. To arm ourselves with worship, the Word, and the Full Armor of God!

It is sound and biblical wisdom to pray and praise at Midnight.

Paul and Silas delivered themselves and the rest of the prisoners with them when they praised God at midnight! Through worshipping at midnight they were able to save a soldier from killing himself. They even went on to save the soldier's entire household and baptize them in Jesus name! (Acts 16:25-34)

There is just a principle that's available in the midnight hour. Samson even after committing sin with a harlot, was able to intercept the plans of the enemy at midnight! The Gazites laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city. They said that in the morning when it was day they would kill him. Samson waited and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, the post, bar and all! You see while the enemy sleeps you can awake and dismantle their plans. (Judges 16:2-3)

The turning of events occur at midnight! The bible says though weeping may endure for the night, JOY comes in the morning! (Pslams 30:5)

It is imperative that we watch and be vigilant. Much like the five wise virgins, who had their lamps trimmed with oil, ready and available to answer the call of the Lord! The bible says, "at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him." What if they were asleep and didn't hear the call, even if they did have oil? Lord please in JESUS name, allow your children to always hear and meet you with our lamps trimmed with oil. Wide awake and not in stupor or slumber in JESUS Holy name! (Matthew 25:6)

Psalms 98 πŸ•Š️⚔️

1  O sing unto the   Lord   a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. 2 The   Lord   hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. 3  He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 4  Make a joyful noise unto the   Lord , all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 5  Sing unto the   Lord   with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. 6  With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the   Lord , the King. 7  Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 8  Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together. 9  Before the   Lord ; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the w...

Psalms 97 ⚔️πŸ•Š️

97  The   Lord   reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. 2  Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. 3  A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. 4  His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. 5  The hills melted like wax at the presence of the  Lord , at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 6  The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. 7  Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods. 8  Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O  Lord . 9  For thou,  Lord , art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods. 10  Ye that love the  Lord , hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth t...

Jeremiah 31:15-17 πŸ”₯

The Lord blessed me to read in the book of Jeremiah today. It was so sweet! He first showed me Jeremiah 31:16 on 12/19/22. Verse 16 really comforted me, but I didn't really get the surrounding verses until today. I pray I can glean more from these scriptures. You don't need to seek a prophet, when you can get it straight from the Source: The Word of God. Jeremiah 31:15-17 πŸ”₯ 15 Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. 16 Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. 17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. My understanding: I found that Ramah, is a HILL in Benjamin on the border of Ephraim. According to Psalms 24:3, a hill signifies the ch...
