The Joy of the Lord is our Strength!

Praise GOD for a new year! Hallelujah KING JESUS! You are GOOD and WORTHY to be praised!

We thank you in advance for crowning our year with your goodness Lord! (Psalms 65:11)

Many things and situations have changed over these last few years. Loved ones passed, families separated, marriages broken, friendships disillusioned, job loss, economy shift, the list of woes can go on and on. We may not know the reason, but my Father use to say, "Just keep getting up, and putting one foot in front of the other." The answers will come by and by.

No matter where you find yourself on January 1st, 2023. Find the joy in having your moving and your being in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Find joy in knowing the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Find joy in knowing He is on your side! Find joy in knowing the One that can turn the hearts of kings like the river. Find joy in knowing the One who spoke to the dark and there was light! Find joy in knowing the God of the Universe! The one true and living God! He is ours and we are His. He is a covenant keeping God and there is nothing too hard for Him! Find joy in HIM!

Wake up everyday with and attitude of gratitude. I may not have this or that, but I'm grateful I have this and that. Set small goals. You'll be amazed how good it feels to accomplish even the smallest of goals. It could just be walking in the driveway today. Accomplish that and keep going! Find the joy! There's always someone who has it way worse than you! You may not be able to walk far now, but there's someone in rehab learning to walk again. You may be separated today, but there is someone who just became a widow. Find the joy! I urge you in the mighty name of Jesus, encourage yourself in the Lord and find the joy!

After a while you won't have to try so hard to construct joy, it'll flow like a river. A couple of blogs back, I said that I believe that 2023 is a year for the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and JOY in the Holy Ghost! We must contend for JOY! Find the JOY!

Psalms 40 πŸ•Š️⚔️

1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. 5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. 6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. 9 I have preached righteousness in the great con...

Proverbs 5 ⚔️πŸ•Š️

1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: 2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. 3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. 6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. 7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. 8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: 9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: 10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; 11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, 12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; 13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear...
