Even If You Don't Do It Lord

Daniel 3:17-18

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Lord, 

I just want to tell you publicly. That even if you don't restore my marriage, even if you don't vindicate me, if my family or I never get another breakthrough.

YOU'RE STILL GOOD! It's surely not because you can't. What you can not do DOES NOT EXIST. You alone are sovereign and just. I'll trust you in the yes's, the no's, and the delays.

I won't serve or bow to any other god. There's nothing and no one that could ever take your place. If I lose everything and everyone. Just as long as I have you, I'll have everything and anything I could ever need.

THE LORD WILL REQUIRE IT

Many times in the Bible we see where evil rulers desired a certain land, position, or some sort of personal gain. And to their own demise they would conspire to steal, kill, and destroy people or nations to fulfill their evil desires. ALWAYS to their own defeat and demise. I began to read the story of Athaliah, the daughter of Ahab. How she slew all the royal heirs so that she could reign. And she did reign for a period of time. But there was one young heir that was hidden from her slaughter with his nurse, named Joash. When the time came the people anointed the young boy as king. To restore the throne back to God's people. He was only 7 years old! When Athaliah heard of the inauguration she tore her clothes and yelled, "treason, treason"....go figure!
