For a Season

Philemon 1:15

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

Praise the Lord sisters!

I pray all is well with you! So Sunday night at prayer meeting the Lord led me to the scripture above. And it made my heart leap! I tell you guys all the time how God's Word has been speaking to me like never before. This small book written for our exhortation and rebuke has blessed me indeed!

It encouraged me to continue believing for the restoration and healing of my marriage. That this separation is only for a season. And this time apart is useful (Ones'-i-mus) that God may work in us as He sees fit. So that when we are restored to one another it will be forever.

So Paul writes Philemon regarding receiving Ones'-i-mus in his stead. He begins to say that even though in time past, Ones'-i-mus was unprofitable. He would now be very profitable to Philemon and to Paul.  He even advised that Ones'-i-mus would no longer be considered a servant but a beloved brother, in the flesh and in the Lord. I just see how wonderful it will be to have a close intimate bond with our husbands, serving the Lord TOGETHER! No longer running on E but in overflow, profitable to one another and God!

He further urged Philemon to not charge anything that Ones'-i-mus had done or owed to him. But to put it all on Paul's account that he might repay. Even with his own hand. And this next part got me! He said though I don't tell you of the things that you owe me. Isn't that like God! Urging us to forgive the past, that He'll repay accordingly. But even in us wanting vengeance to be repaid. We must remember how merciful JESUS has been to us! This is mmm good!

Remember Sister, mercy rejoices over judgement. For love's sake, let the Lord have His perfect work in YOU and your husband. What God is forming is bigger than missing our mates. It's bigger than living together and buying matching clothes. God is repairing the breaches for generations to come! There's much work for us to do. God is calling us higher in this hour! And nothing or no one can take priority over that. This is more than a marriage of flesh. It's a dynamic spiritual duo that God fashioned for HIS GLORY. To mirror the marriage of His son JESUS and the Church. And it only operates well when we are completely synchronized to Him and His ways. When that's off, everything is off. Because we're not our own. We're brought with a precious price, and made for His special purpose.

(Philemon 1:9-19)

Be encouraged!

Jeremiah 31:15-17 🔥

The Lord blessed me to read in the book of Jeremiah today. It was so sweet! He first showed me Jeremiah 31:16 on 12/19/22. Verse 16 really comforted me, but I didn't really get the surrounding verses until today. I pray I can glean more from these scriptures. You don't need to seek a prophet, when you can get it straight from the Source: The Word of God. Jeremiah 31:15-17 🔥 15 Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. 16 Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. 17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. My understanding: I found that Ramah, is a HILL in Benjamin on the border of Ephraim. According to Psalms 24:3, a hill signifies the ch...

Psalms 97 ⚔️🕊️

  97  The   Lord   reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. 2  Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. 3  A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. 4  His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. 5  The hills melted like wax at the presence of the  Lord , at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 6  The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. 7  Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods. 8  Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O  Lord . 9  For thou,  Lord , art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods. 10  Ye that love the  Lord , hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth t...

THE LORD WILL REQUIRE IT

Many times in the Bible we see where evil rulers desired a certain land, position, or some sort of personal gain. And to their own demise they would conspire to steal, kill, and destroy people or nations to fulfill their evil desires. ALWAYS to their own defeat and demise. I began to read the story of Athaliah, the daughter of Ahab. How she slew all the royal heirs so that she could reign. And she did reign for a period of time. But there was one young heir that was hidden from her slaughter with his nurse, named Joash. When the time came the people anointed the young boy as king. To restore the throne back to God's people. He was only 7 years old! When Athaliah heard of the inauguration she tore her clothes and yelled, "treason, treason"....go figure! The evil daughter of evil Jezebel and evil Ahab, who killed children just so she could reign yelled treason because her evil plot didn't go as planned lol Girl bye! Lol Anywho... Back to the young King Joash. He actuall...
