1 Samuel 30:8 - And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
There's so many take aways and nuggets in this story of triumph and recovery.
I took a lot from this story, the infamous 3 days and nights timeframe. The inquiring of the Lord before setting out to do anything. Even if it's retrieving your own possessions. The ones that had to stay at the brook because they were too faint to fight. After just leaving a previous battle. Yet they divided the spoil just the same as the ones that went out to battle. There's rest and rewards for God's warriors. Even the Egyptian helping David find his enemies. If your ways are pleasing to the Lord, he'll make even your enemies be at peace with you. If God be for you, WHO can be against you!
I pray the Lord speaks to you as you read 1 Samuel 30.
Decree: I SHALL RECOVER ALL THAT THE ENEMY TOOK, AND SHARE THE PLUNDER OF THE ENEMY! IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME!
