Psalm 121

A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem.

1 I look up to the mountains—
    does my help come from there?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth!

3 He will not let you stumble;
    the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel
    never slumbers or sleeps.

5 The Lord himself watches over you!
    The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
6 The sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon at night.

7 The Lord keeps you from all harm
    and watches over your life.
8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
    both now and forever.

Personal Prayer Interpretation:

Praise God, for my help comes from the LORD who made heaven and earth!

He will not let me, my husband, my children or my family stumble, for the one that watches over us will not slumber. He who watches over me, my marriage, and my family never slumbers or sleeps!

Thank you, LORD, for you alone watch over me and my family. You stand with us as a protective shade. The sun will not harm us by day, nor the moon by night! Thank you, my LORD, for you keep us from all harm and you watch over our lives. Thank you, LORD, for keeping watch over me and my family as we come and go both now and forever in JESUS' holy name amen!

Jeremiah 31:15-17 🔥

The Lord blessed me to read in the book of Jeremiah today. It was so sweet! He first showed me Jeremiah 31:16 on 12/19/22. Verse 16 really comforted me, but I didn't really get the surrounding verses until today. I pray I can glean more from these scriptures. You don't need to seek a prophet, when you can get it straight from the Source: The Word of God.
